Match the message to the tenant.
A monthly account statement, maintenance appointment confirmation or requested account update can benefit from an included image. Keep the wording specific: identify the business, state the purpose and include the information needed for that individual recipient.
Fictional example
“Hi Jennifer. Your September statement is attached.”
The document is marked EXAMPLE — NOT A REAL ACCOUNT. A real workflow should check the tenancy, recipient number and statement reference together before sending.
Organise access around the people doing the work.
| Workspace | Responsibility and access |
|---|---|
| Main business account | Funds the shared credit balance. Its administrators create subaccounts, review usage, set monthly credit limits and can enter their own subaccounts to administer them. |
| Team or client subaccount | Has its own users, message records and API credentials. Sending draws from the main account's balance, subject to applicable limits and account state. |
| Subaccount users | Work in their own account. They do not gain access to the parent or sibling accounts. |
The product supports one level of subaccounts. Decide whether a department or a managed client is the appropriate boundary. A subaccount is not hidden from the parent administrator, so communicate that arrangement to the relevant business and users.
Keep document handling deliberate.
Export the relevant statement or notice as a supported image; MMS Express does not accept PDF uploads or convert PDFs automatically. Images are processed to JPEG. Keep the original document and use a separate secure access method if a person needs a signed file, a long lease or sensitive supporting documents.
A number may be shared by household members or change between tenancies. Validate contact details and remove unnecessary identity, financial or personal information from the image.
Plan notices with the right evidence.
A recorded Sent outcome does not prove that a tenant received or read the message. For formal notices, deadlines or documents with prescribed service requirements, obtain appropriate advice on the required process and evidence. MMS Express does not promise that an MMS is legally sufficient service.
For ordinary account communication, assign someone to review Failed and unresolved messages. Preserve the statement reference, submission ID and the actions your team takes. Understand the recorded outcomes.
Start manually; integrate when the workflow is clear.
The dashboard supports individual sends. A property system can also submit messages through the API, but no native property-software integration is implied. Each subaccount integration uses that account's own API credentials.
